Deputy Director for Science and Technology
The SLAC DDS&T is charged with stewarding the lab’s research enterprise and shaping the lab’s science and technology strategy. The DDS&T is responsible for coordinating research initiatives, researcher development, tech transfer, partnerships, and more.
The SLAC DDS&T is also the SLAC Chief Research Officer (CRO). The CRO advises DOE senior leadership and the National Lab Directors Council on scientific, programmatic and operational issues.
