What are Export Regulations?
Export laws and regulations advance national security, foreign policy, and economic objectives and promote continued U.S. strategic technology leadership
Export laws control and regulate the:
- export, reexport, and transfer of technology (in any form)
- export of all items
- the provision of assistance (services, funds, training) to foreign entities/persons
- sharing export-controlled technology with foreign nationals in the U.S. (see Deemed Export)
- activities of U.S. or Foreign persons that are prohibited by any Order issued under the Export Administration Regulations.
